We've moved past the 70's and into the 80's and are ready to Flashdance our Deloreans off!  Time to register for this year's Dads' Club winter event - an 80's House Party! We've got our hair-band hair, pop collars and leg warmers ready!  This is always  one of the funnest events of the year so make sure you're there and ready to belt out all those great 80's hits.  We'll have the Silent Auction along with a hot give-away for the ladies so don't miss out. Past Events:
Open House - Wednesday, 10/5 - Pine Lake Trout Club
Thanks to all who came. We approved the Gurney iPad Upgrade request. The Dads' Club is providing the extra funding needed to turn the school's planned purchase of a new iPod Touch lab into an iPad Touch lab.  We're excited to see the creative ways Gurney will work these into their curriculum. Thanks to Rachel Jones and staff for coming out to our meeting for presenting the current uses of the iPod Touches and being available for Q&A.

Walk to School Day - Friday, 10/7 - Riverside Park

The Dads' Club donated and helped serve 500 smoothies for the Safe Routes Chagrin Falls Walk to School Day for the Intermediate School students. We also ran a tug-o-war event and gave small prizes out to the Gurney kids who happened to get roped into this event with their older siblings (we had a few left over from the canceled picnic). Thanks to all who helped out. Thanks also to Marti DeSantis, Food Service Supervisor, for envisioning and coordinating this.

Rec Renovation - Thanks to everyone who helped out with the Rec Renovation project.  We laid about 11 yards of mulch (that we donated) and power washed the playground equipment.  Look for the Dads' Club signs at the Rec this summer.

Golf Outing - A huge THANKS to all who participated and donated to this year's Golf Outing fundraiser.


Thanks to everyone who made last year's Nautica Charity Poker & Dinner Dance a tremendous success.
